Are there any tips on choosing a camping tent? I notice the camping tents sell in the market come in many different shapes and sizes and I have no idea which one is suitable for me.

1. a four-season tent or a three-season tent? if you want to use it in winter, you should buy a four-season one, it is sturdy enough to against the heavy snow and strong wind.

2. Price. how much do you spend on the tent ?

3. Size. how many people can your tent hold ? just remerber that your tent can hold one more people than you want, because you can put other things when you are having a winter camping.

If you do like these mentioned above, you will find one you like.

My friends and i bought tents from Quictents, all of us think that their tents are great, maybe you cna find one suit for you.

If you are car-camping, then you can go with a heavy-weight, cheap tent because you can get out easily if the weather turns bad, your tent leaks, or cheap poles break. If you are backpacking, then you must purchase a high-quality, light-weight tent, probably about $300. Space and ceiling height may be important for you. However, I usually sleep in a tight little Big Agnes Fly Creek UL-1 because I want lightweight, 2 pounds, $300. Dome tents perform very well in high winds and heavy weather. Cabin tents are fine if you want to quit if the weather turns nasty. So, your biggest consideration is probably: 1] car-camping; 2] backpacking.
