You need some good check lists and a group campsite 12 people is too many for a single site. You could get 2 joint sites or better yet get the group site

Well, unless your actually moving to the woods, Homework has created quite a long list of things to take. How the heck are you going to carry all of that stuff?

Basics have been covered. Things NOT to forget:

Ax

Extra lighters

Extra pair of shoes (trust me)

Sweats (gets chilly)

Maybe a rope to hang up for wet clothes

Extra garbage bags

can opener (depending on what you're cooking)

Pocket knife

Toilet paper!!!!!!

Tylenol (If you're going with 12 people you are going to need it)

Pony tail holders (Promise, you will need them if your hair is not very short), baseball cap

A grate to put over your fire, you can cook on the fire, no need to carry a stove or grill

I have never camped where they have showers...?? We are deep woods, no one else around, campers... So I do take extra water (a pan to heat it) and soap

If you use the checklist that Homework gave you I don't think you will forget anything, but there is no way you can pack all of that stuff.... It is a very good list though. I just have to add I have never peeled potatoes while camping, slice them and fry them or wrap them in aluminum foil and throw them on the coals... Potatoe Peeler?

If your fishing don't forget your pole and bait and fishing lisence..... Most important thing not to forget!!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful time!!! If this is your first time camping, you will either love it or hate it...Hope you love it, there is a lot to see when you stay outdoors.....

Sorry, I have to say one more thing... Where are you going to plug in a cell phone charger????

tent, thick sleeping bags - even if the weather is meant to be good it gets really cold out, sleeping bag mats, torches and batteries, waterproof cover for your tent

depends what you're going camping for and if you're going walking or anything like that. if it's just generally on a campsite chilling you might want some folding chairs and tables, camping stoves and good.
